House rules

Dear Guests,

please keep in mind that you are spending your holidays in our private vacation home. We have put a lot of effort in setting up and furnishing the place and sincerely hope you have a wonderful and relaxing holiday in our holiday home. Enjoy your stay and have a wonderful time with the wide range of leisure activities Tenerife has to offer.

We have put together the following points to give you an idea how we ideally would like our home to be treated. Here are a couple of rules, we hope you will appreciate. By properly taking care of our place, you will help us provide you with a beautiful holiday home in the future.

In general: If there is anything you need or are missing in amenities or equipment-wise, please feel free to contact us.

Kitchen: Please note that only dishes, cutlery, pots and devices that you used should be clean before placing them back in the cupboards.

Smokers: As a general rule, smoking is not permitted in our holiday homes. Please be aware that in the case of any damages, such as cigarette burns, burn marks and holes on furniture, bed linen, table cloths and so on, we will have to charge you the replacement value. Of course, you can smoke on the terrace; ashtrays are available.

Keys: Keys should not be passed on to a third party. In the event of loss, the tenant is liable for replacement in the amount of the replacement costs for a new lock.

Bathroom: Please do not dispose of sanitary products or any food in the toilet.

Damages: Surely, nobody damages the property of of other people on purpose; however, it can happen to anyone that something breaks. We would greatly appreciate that you communicate any damages prior to your departure, so we do not have to discover these during final cleaning. Tenants are responsible for damages as long as they were caused by themselves, guests or other fellow travellers or are otherwise to blame. However, we do not mean trivial matters such as a broken glass.

Due diligence: The tenant must treat the property with care and must take care that his travel companions also comply to the rental terms. Windows, doors must be shut and the sun umbrella closed before leaving home to avoid damages due to severe weather.

Pool area: The pool area is communal and is shared by other residents of the condominium. Please read the notice board carefully. Children under the age of 8 may access the pool area only in the company of a custodian. Please be particularly vigilant of your children in the pool area.

Booking / Arrival and departure: The booking is only binding when the landlord has confirmed the booking in writing (e-mail).

Liability: The renter and other guests hereby declare to use the apartment, all objects therein and the swimming pool at their own risk and thereby indemnify the landlord from all claims for compensation thereof.

Additional agreements: Should any of the provisions in the house rules be or become totally or partially legally ineffective, then the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. In such a case, the ineffective clause will be retroactively replaced by the effective legal regulation which economically corresponds to the original intention of the party.

In urgent cases, the landlord reserves the right to enter the apartments without prior notice. Please be aware, these provisions are subject to change.

Our understanding is that by booking the holiday home you are accepting the house rules.

We wish you a pleasant stay and hope you have a great time. For any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
